Extreme process gas conditions require robust and reliable compressors. MAN Diesel & Turbo screw compressors are able to cope with extreme conditions and applications reciprocating or centrifugal compressors cannot serve due to corrosion and erosion impact.

Designed for suction volume flows from 200 up to 100,000 m³/h, suction pressures down to 0,1 bar and discharge pressures reaching above 50 bar, the robust process-gas screw compressors offered by MAN Diesel & Turbo can handle highly contaminated gases and gas mixtures that would normally shorten the availability and life time of other types of compressors. Wide fluctuations in gas composition and associated molecular weight do not influence a screw compressor's mechanical behaviour. Relatively low tip speeds allow both the compression of dust laden gases as well as the injection of liquids into the compression chamber for cooling and washing.
MAN Diesel & Turbo can offer a wide range of shaft seal arrangements to adapt the process gas screw compressors to any application. The modular design of the compressor package allows for perfect adaption to any customer specification or space restrictions.
As a result of intensive R&D efforts MAN Diesel & Turbo has developed its new oil-injected process gas screw compressor series CPO. Drawing from its vast experience in oil-free process gas screw compressors MAN Diesel & Turbo know exactly the demanding requirements from customers in the oil & gas as well as petrochemical industry. Knowing that there is no substitute for experience MAN Diesel & Turbo went into a close cooperation with its former affiliate GHH Rand being widely recognised as a global leader for oil-injected screw compressors for over 60 years. By uniting the exceptional competencies of both MAN Diesel & Turbo and GHH Rand it is guaranteed that the new CPO series will set new standards for oil-injected process gas screw compressors.
